[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE NEEDED A WASHER/DRYER UPSTAIRS TO ELIMINATE GOING INTO THE BASEMENT TO DO THE LAUNDRY, THIS UNIT FIT EXACTLY INTO A LINEN CLOSET UPSTAIRS. COULD NOT HAVE FOUND A BETTER SOLUTION.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer/dryer combo based on its size (the door to the back room is skinny) and on the recommendation of a repair man who shared that the lower-tech the unit, the easier (and cheaper) it is to repair in the long term--and that it's best to buy a washer that loads from the top (not the front) for long-term durability. Although this unit is low-tech, it's extraordinarily easy to use and very efficient. The washer takes about 20 minutes and the dryer is fast as well. This is a great purchase!

1.5L cannot wash queen sized bed sheet. The result was not very clean.

We are a retired couple, thus do not have large amounts of laundry. While the washer unit is satisfactory, the dryer is AWFUL! Even when we run the dryer cycle for three towels, for example, we have to run the cycle twice. Even then, the towels are not dry. We end up having to spread out the semi-dry items on the beds to get them completely dry. The service provider and salesman told us, essentially, that that is just the way it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

size is deceiving

This Combination Washer/Gas Dryer by Whirlpool was purchased with only limited use because of its size, but to our amazement this unit is TOP NOTCH!!The washer is a very conformable size to was all of out clothes.The dryer dries a complete laundry with speed and dryness.Perfect size for any apartment.Also, it produces very low noise when the washer is in operation and the dryer as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great appliance

I have had my appliance a couple months now. Love it. I have saved money by using less gas, water. I also have smaller loads. It's just my husband and myself. I would suggest this for older couples with limited space where they live. Price is reasonable. Great warranty.

Efficient Unit

Writing this review after one day of use. The washer is smaller than our last combination machine, will have to get used to doing smaller loads. I find this model to be noisy.
