[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the MLB app to watch the Red Sox. Much better than watching on my laptop.

Mounting was a snap

I had planned to create a stairway to out basement by building a wall basement door and audio center. The Samsung TV was bought to mount flus on the new wall with access to the connection hub from the back of the wall. TV mounted well to the mounting kit and all connections pass through the wall with just the power and the communication cable. This is such a great idea with the hub.
Only enhancement to the communication hub would be the addition of an optional flange to mount the device.
Thanks, Jon
Pros: Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture and even good sound. Disappointed it does not work with Alexa
Overall UI and performance are very refined compared to previous models and other manufacturer models. Very easy to find contents I want and very versatile in terms of how you consume contents, whether streaming, cable box, local media, DLNA, mobile mirroring, and so on. It just feels like a huge step up from any TV out there. You won't need additional devices as this TV has it all.
This product was so simple to set up. With the one connect box this is the easiest system to setup. The picture quality is superb. The fact that I was able to use the tv remote to control everything has made it so that my wife has no problem using this system. I truly love it.
I had an HU8550 that did everything well except for DLNA playback. Unfortunately, that's my major use for the TV, so Samsung just replaced it with the JU7100. Even though the series number is lower, this is the 2015 replacement for the 8550. So far, DLNA and broadcast TV is working great.
Two issues with it so far, First, the app library is still quite limited. Netflix is still missing, and Amazon just arrived last night. I tried some 4K material from Amazon, and it looks like the app needs some fine tuning. The first time I played the 4K material, it took a few minutes but did reach 2160p. I tried again a few hours later, and it never went higher than 1080p. I have a 50Mbps DSL connection, so there's plenty of bandwidth.
The other issue is minor, but still an irritant. I have the UHD hard drive pack, and the GUI for it is significantly inferior to the HU8550. On the HU, each video had a large icon and a information page before you select playback. On the JU, it is a simple list, identical to the DLNA video lists. It would be great if the information page was again available with the drive pack, and it would be wonderful if the DLNA media had the same thing.
Maybe the standard doesn't support it, but it would be wonderful if the Audio Return Channel (ARC), which returns online audio back to my AV receiver via the HDMI cable, would send my HD audio in bitstream back to the AV receiver. I have a number of videos with Dolby TrueHD or DTS Master Audio, but only the lossy audio portion is sent to the receiver.
The TV itself was easy to set up and the legs had the choice of being at their widest point or there was another slot where they could be about four inches further inward which I chose due to the stand was a little short on one end. There were only 2 wires from the TV and they were hidden inside the R leg for seamless wiring. The Connect One Box made handling the wires even easier. The set up was very easy, just follow the prompts. The best part about this is the color and clarity, and it looks like 3D but it's not, that's just how clear and realistic the picture is....it's amazing
