Dispenser doesn't drain!

We are on machine #2, same problem. Dispenser drawer fills with water & doesn't drain. Have Never used softener in it, which I prefer. Two new parts didn't work. Almost 7 months waiting for GE to come up with a fix. Now the drawer tab broke! Very disappointed!!

GE front load washer

laundry takes to long to do as additional rinses are required to get rid of all soap. Soap drawer has been replace once under warranty and problem still occurs. Very unhappy with the washer and dryer and would like GE to credit back so different GE model can be purchased. Clothes coming out of dryer are not soft due to soap not being out. My new washer and dryer are under 1 year old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beware, if you don't prop the door open to vent and keep it open to keep inside dry, then mold will grow and all your clothes will stink.

A little disappointed

When the machine is working-it's good. However, most of the time it goes terribly off balance. I am a single person in the house so it's not like there is a ton of laundry causing it. Already had repair man out for it, but it's still doing it-going to have to call again!!!

clean clothes, smelly washer

I have had my GE front load right height washer and dryer for about 2 1/2 months. It seems to get the clothes very clean and it almost always gets the stains out the first time. However, after one month I noticed an odor. I have always kept the door of the washer open unless I was using it. I used an Afresh packet and it still smelled. I then tried vinegar and baking soda to clean it. This seems to have worked, and I also wipe down the rubber gasket after each use.

Good washer - Large capacity

We have owned this washing machine between 1 and 2 years. Does a good job washing clothes and has many features. One feature I wish it had would be a Spin only cycle. We had to have the washer serviced right after delivery and installation due to a part (water diverter) not being attached causing the detergent and softer not to be dispensed. Customer service was prompt and friendly. My only complaint is that from time to time the softner doesn't dispense which is annoying.

This machine has leaks of which still have not been fixed despite 2 visits .I believe it not to be well designed

Terrible Wash Machine

This machine gave us trouble from the first day. The soap dispenser didn’t use up all the soap or fabric softener. Then it left water in the dispenser after the cycle was done. It is very loud. We went through 2 of these machines in 6 months, before we asked GE for a full refund on the wash machine. We ended up selling the matching dryer. Very disappointed.
