this is by far the worst GE washer we have ever had. it has caked on junk coming into the area where the detergent goes. I can't even use this washer until it is fixed

We bought this machine 3 years ago and have had nothing but trouble since. A total lemon. Don't waste your money like we did. Buyer beware!!

Loud noises within one year

I bough this washing machine just over two years ago. Because it came highly rated I believed it would last a very long time.
In one year the basket bangs loudly on any spin cycle, the spin cycle is extremely loud and getting louder with each use and the tub smells even after following all of the recommended basket clean procedures.
Would not recommend.

We purchased a new home almost 5 years ago and filled our home with GE appliances. After year three our dishwasher motor stopped running and dumped gallons of water on our wood floor requiring us to pull out the floor and replace the washer. Now at almost five years with our front load washer the bearings in the tub failed and we will now have to purchase a new clothes washer. Not what I expected from such a reputable company. Not happy.

Bearings Gone after 4 years

Bearings went after 5 years, Parts unavailable.
Purchased brand new and purchased the 4 year extended warranty beyond the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Started making loud noise during the spin cycles and the electronic panel started acting wonky and the washer would not end a cycle it would go into pause mode. The washer is 4 years old. Reached out to warranty and they said parts are not available
