Smells like somethings burning on very 1st load

I just had this installed today 12/6/13 and after just 1 load of kids clothing it smells like something is burning and also the detergent/softner drawer is completly full of water and Barons major appliance will not ever return this washer that is doing this on the very 1st load so I guess I am stuck with this washer, glad I got and extened warrenty looks like I will be needed it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just purchased this set to replace our 20 year old pair. We are extremely satisfied with the washer and dryer. They are loaded with ever feature you can imagine. The perfect height models fit under the lower wall cabinets, where the separate pedestal models will not. The washer's adaptive vibration control, though, will not program to my floor surface type. Following the directions in the manual step by step with no success. Wondering if the manual is wrong or the washer is malfunctioning right out of the box. Other than that everything seems to work. Very sharp looking set and made right here in America...

Love the simplicity of its operation with the ability to override it with manual preferences for specific jobs. Perfect paired with the Dryer combo.

Not only does it have and amazing color red but, it'll stop anyone in its tracks. My friends are amazed by the look and options this washer has. The size loads are wonderful too it def cuts my time in half. This by far is my favorite purchase I have made and look forward for others in my future! Go GE!!!
