I actually won this washer and dryer in a sweepstakes! I have never owned a front load before but this one is absolutely fabulous! A great selling point is that it has the pedestal built in...you don't have to buy separate

Only one water temperature choice per cycle

I don't like that I cannot choose different water temperatures for a wash and rinse cycle. It's only one temperature setting for the entire wash/rinse cycle.

Very good washer

I have had this washer for about a month now and the only thing I don't care for is that it doesn't spin heavier stuff such a cotton bath mat very well at all. I washed a bath mat and it was not spun at all. Maybe I need to check the settings as I have not investigated this issue as of yet. Other than that I love the washer!!

I agonized over what washer and dryer to purchase and finally decided on this model. I have been very happy with it in the two months that I have had it. It is quiet and efficient and cleans well. My only complaints would be that the filter that is recommended to be cleaned monthly is nearly impossible to open and close. I doubt if I will be doing this monthly! The second complaint is finding so much residual water in the detergent drawer. I have to empty it out after each use. For me these are minor problems.

Had to call the service man in the first two months. Washer did not work on
normal cycle. Service man changed the logic board and now everything is

I've never owned a front load washer.. always worried about mold smell. I have not had any problems with that and love all the features on this machine.

Cleans fantastically!! I didn't even need the bleach to get my white socks white!! Like it's sister the dryer, you have many settings and can save a custom setting if you find you are using over and over. Makes it very convenient. It is nice and large so you can get those bed spreads in there and know they are going to get clean. Now if I can just figure out how to make it beep when it is done. hmmm.

I'll admit that I felt a little challenged by the technology on this new washer. BUT - it is very intuitive and easy to use once given a chance! The machine is quiet and does a great job cleaning. I love the built-in riser so the height is right. I do leave the door open after each wash so that I hope to avoid the musty smell associated with front-load washers.
