Smells like somethings burning on very 1st load

I just had this installed today 12/6/13 and after just 1 load of kids clothing it smells like something is burning and also the detergent/softner drawer is completly full of water and Barons major appliance will not ever return this washer that is doing this on the very 1st load so I guess I am stuck with this washer, glad I got and extened warrenty looks like I will be needed it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well worth the money

This machine is well worth the money. The clothes come out less wrinkled than in most machines. There is no need to detangle clothing, because it doesn't happen. You can do large loads and not worry that they won't come out a clean as a smaller load. This machine makes doing laundry simpler.

I love this washer mashing. it is virtually quiet, it has a very large capacity, very user friendly, it identifies the size of your load and automatically sets the settings for the size. the steam setting is a plus. I love the sports clothes and gentle cycles.

Cant say enough about this product to my friends. I have a husband who operates dairy farm & two very active young men in sports 24/7, I was tired of doing laundry daily/ hourly because of my small models. I got sick of it 6 months ago and bought the largest capacity models available at the time. NO REGRETS! One load in the washer, one load to the dryer. DONE! I now wash once a week, & save mega bucks on operating costs. The control panel is very intimidating at first, then you manipulate the controls to your needs and you can actually increase the operating efficiency. Best Yet! Don't miss out!

Mother Board Goes Out After 3 Months!

We thought this would be our dream washing machine - front load, higher off the floor, llots of options! But, when it stopped working two weeks ago and the tech had to
replace the 'mother board' when we have had it for 3 months, our confidence has

washer lis mostly good, but has a leak

This washer has many great features, but I am concerned and wonder if it's a lemon. GE service is coming for the second time to stop the water from leaking beneath the machine. Also, the pull out tab broke on the soap dish after two months. Are these signs of chronic problems?

Like so many of you out their we all seam to do our homework these day...in the past my wife and I have purchased other brands for applicances but now we have learned...Simple said "GE" is our brand for the future! Their is something to be said for having a few to select from when shopping for a appliance. As with GE, we recently purchased this amazing washer and only had a couple of styles to choose, unlike other brands that you never know who actually manufactures it these days. They all have the bells and whistles but in our mind their just mass produced and who fixes what. Unlike GE, they make it, test it and its tried and true to what your actually buying. This washer is just incrediable..."QUITE"...with all the features you could ever need. Works just amazing...HIGHLY RECOMMEND this unit to any of you looking for a washer!!!!
