WORKS WELL SO FAR NO COMPLAINTS

have had the washer for about a month now and no issues. it has a slight vibrating motion for about a minute in the beginning of the cycle. It is still pretty quiet during that and very quiet the rest of the time. I like the height with the built in pedestal and I am only 5'1". The gasket seems to drain well but I leave the door cracked open in between loads. So far we have had no issues with the functioning of the washer. I really like it. seems to get the clothes clean. My kids like to watch the clothes tumble around and can help now with it being a front loader. It does have a lock function on the control panel so kids can't change it once set, but an adult can. Beware that front load washer doors only open from the right to the left. Our washer had to be on the right where the drain was so the doors to washer and dryer open in the middle. It's a minor nuisance, but it doesnt take much to move the clothes around the doors and into the dryer. If you can have your washer on the left side, you'll have a easier time transferring clothes. Just something to think about. i wanted a front load washer and didn't care about which way the doors went. With this washer you do have to clean and check a filter in the front panel of the washer every six months, which I see myself forgetting to do. It's a good washer, made in USA i believe, and the rebates and features made it worth it for us.

Finicky

This washer has a lot of great features, some of which are great if you have allergies or have heavily soiled laundry. It does a good job of cleaning and is gentle on laundry. The drum size is large so it can hold a lot, but you have to be careful about loading because it can be quite finicky when it gets to the spin cycle. It seems to be very sensitive about balancing the load, so even though the drum can hold a large size load, it keeps resetting until it finds just the right balance which can add up to 30 minutes to your load wash time. At times it cannot complete the spin cycle at all. I have found if you keep the loads more medium size it seems to operate properly. I have owned several other front loading washers and never experienced this issue with balancing the load. This is my second of the same machine; this first one had to be replaced while under warranty as it chronically failed to spin out the load.

Wash time is a little slow

very good washer takes a bit longer to wash a load compared to a top loader, they come out much dryer with the new front loader though. We have a meter on our water usage, we literally dropped almost 80 gallons of water a day, yes a day by going from an old top loader to this one.

I bought this washer along with the matching dryer. It does a great job of washing my clothes and is easy to use. It is pretty quiet except on high spins. Nothing real loud but enough noise to know its spinning. That being said I would purchase again.

So many possibilities!
on March 4, 2016

The wash load possibilities range from a few socks to the bulkiest mattress pads with many settings for fabric types/density and special cleaning concerns. Load size is sensed by the machine which adds water accordingly. The steam feature is very useful for enhancing cleaning results with many cycles. Multiple water temperatures, soil level selections, stain removal cycles, multiple spin speeds & number of rinse selections further enable personally customized cycles which can be stored by the machine. A nice convenience & could enable children/seniors to wash clothes without having to push more than one button. The delay wash feature is a personal favorite & I'm looking forward to using the overnight dry cycle. Unlike many front load machines, it has both pre-soak & pre-wash cycles. Having a lighted drum is an unexpected, but welcome feature as is the integrated pedestal which really does provide the "right height". Anything taller wouldn't have fit in my space & anything lower would have caused difficulty for me.

Excellent except for load balancing

This is my first front loader. I love the height of this washer and all the features it offers. Clothes look and smell clean when cycle has finished. I do have a couple of issues with it. From load one we have had balance problems. Our first load would get to a certain time and then add minutes. It did this at least 9 times before we finally removed all jeans from the unit and tried again with success. It also wastes a lot of time spinning trying to determine the load size. An average wash that is supposed to take 109 minutes can easily take 1 1/2 to 2 hours if there are heavier items. The dispenser drawer also has to be emptied of water after the cycle often but this isn't really an issue for me. Overall I do like this washer and its features.
On a side note, the matching dryer is the absolute best dryer I've ever had.

Oossibly the best washer I've had
on April 6, 2016

Assuming this washer proves to be durable, it is the best washer I've had. I love the fact that it has a cycles to clean the tub...no more musty front loader smell. The only think that could make this better is if it had a reminder that let me know it has been a month since its last cleaning.
In addition to cleaning it self, it cleans my clothes very well (that is the most important thing, right?). The bulky bedding setting is great. I am not continually rebalancing the load when I wash towels and sheets. I really have also come to trust the settings that pre-set for blood and grass stains. I have two teenage sons that both play sports, so there is plenty of laundry in our house. So far this washer keeps up with my family better than any other washer I've had.
