It' the right height

We've had this dryer for 2 months, it works great! Drys clothes really fast, like the steam function.

MAJOR REPAIRS AFTER 13 MONTHS OF USE!

Just 13 months after installation of my GE Right Height Dryer, major problems started. First the heat sensor broke off so only the Timed Dry option worked. After that was replaced, the motor began to go bad and eventually the dryer would not start until new motor was installed. Also the circuit board and controls needed to be replaced. These 2 parts were ordered directly from GE yet the new parts did not work. They had to be re-ordered. The dryer is working again but given the repairs already needed on a unit less than 2 years old, I fear it will not last even 5 years. This is supposed to be a premium appliance, and is sold at a high price. I am very dissatisfied with quality of this dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife loves it. The "right height" profile works perfectly. Not to high causing it to move & high enough to reach inside easily. All features work flawlessly.

All the bells and whistles for the right price. I love this set. They look incredible, they really do. But appearances aside, the units run amazing. The eco features as well as the steam features on both units are wonderful. These are some very efficient and user friendly units. Thank you GE!

Washer & dryer
Washer always smells like mold because of rubber gasket and reservoir you have to empty once a month. Dryer tangles clothes and especially towels and sheets. Have to run 2 or 3 times.

Four years ago, I wrote a review giving this thing 5 stars. Now. after a thermal event on the control board I'm writing a new review. Thankfully I spent the extra $$$ on a 5 year 3rd party warranty. No control board should ever have a fire, err excuse me - thermal event. This is due to substandard parts and likely the PCB traces not large enough to handle the amperage from the relays to the heating elements. Good news is the 3rd party warranty refunded the cost of the unit. Loved the looks and the features at the time. Price was okay given all that it could do. I just would expect the relays/control board to last a bit longer than 4 years. I understand faults happen. If it was a capacitor or something like that sure, but a relay and circuit trace should last well beyond this limited life time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
