Lots of features, pretty quiet

Pros: Very large tub, lots of features, allows for drying large bulky items, bright light (as compared to previous dryer we owned), quiet (as compared to the previous dryer we owned)
Cons: Quiet - the load done beeper is not loud enough for our liking but we can deal with it (minor issue), a little tall for us - we are shorter people so the RightHeight feature is not exactly ideal but we do use it to stack folded clothes prior to placing them in a basket, kind of expensive but what do you expect for all the features and load capacity?
The washer/dryer pair seem deeper than a "standard" washer/dryer. They stick out farther than our previous set which were also front loading but I can't call this a con considering how much larger the load capacity is. The door setup is not ideal on the washer/dryer set but it can be reversed on the dryer so it's not a con for the dryer.
Beyond that it has been a great experience so far. Every negative at this point is pretty minor really.

Great for Big Families!

I bought the matching washer and dryer and had it installed on 4/21. Today is 5/9 and I have almost completely caught up with the horrible backlog of dirty clothes left by my old 1990's W/D. This is quite a feat for any washer/dryer as I have 6 children and 2 very stinky dogs. My water and electric bill have both decreased ever so slightly, which is great! I love the built in risers. It does make a difference on your back. I love the detangle feature. Very handy. My only complaint is that the doors are not reversible on this set, so changing clothes from W to D is awkward. If only the doors opened up (think "Back to the Future" car) instead of out, this would never be a problem for any space. Give it a thought, GE.

Like Front Loading

We have run the dryer using the steam feature. It's fantastic - cuts the wrinkles way down and reduces ironing a whole lot. The front loading feature is convenient and easy. The platform is high enough so there's no bending over..
