This dryer gets my clothes dry in a short period of time using less energy. I like all of the options, especially the steam feature.

I have had this dryer for more than 8 months, and it has been a gem. Really dries efficiently. Many settings to choose from. Threw my iron away after having the steam setting for one item or a load. It has saved me time and money.

Looks nice, but failed within 1 month

Within 2 weeks of installation the washer drum started going nuts, making loud noises and shaking like an earthquake. The front door also started to slightly leak detergent. We use the machine almost on a daily basis with medium size loads and follow instructions...
The washer looks good, has tons of feature, but this quick failure is a red flag. Glad we're still within the "generous" 1 year warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Machine

So far functions well. Very quiet and is a nice design. Had a problem when first installed, it would not turn on. Had the installers re-install the old dryer and it worked.GE sent out another unit but the same thing, would not start. Called GE to send a tech out and he found a defect in the house wiring. Once I had it fixed (loose wire in panel box) it worked. Too bad installers were not proficient in diagnosis. Would have saved me and GE time and money.

Fantastic Dryer

My husband & I purchased our first front load washer & Dryer approx 8 yrs ago, which was a GE brand. We were so pleased with the quality of it we wouldn't allow ourselves to purchase anything but a GE for our new purchase. Just as we expected, it didn't disappoint. We are very pleased with our new dryer.
