Wireless Problems Constantly

This copier has serious and consistent problems keeping a wireless connection. Junk. I am highly agitated as it screens and use is not intuitive. Poor programming in my opinion. I would not recommend this model.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Difficult Setup, unreliable, bad wireless use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Purchase Ever

Bought Canon since they generally have a good reputation as electronics manufacturer. Have had this product for over a year. Terrible product in many ways. Printer: Very slow to start and warm up. Sometime will print just 1 page and hang for several minutes.Often needs reboot. Fax answers the phone even when set to not pick up until after the 4th ring. Copier: Very slow to start and warm up. Sometime will print just 1 page and hang for several minutes.Often needs reboot. Scanner: Have not had any problems. Has been acceptable.
I am going to have to throw this pseudo-working printer into the landfill and buy a replacement product. Too frustrated to use any longer.
Very disappointed with Canon.
Pros: Small Footprint
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, unreliable

Sloooowww printing

We've had this for about three months. It just took 19 minutes to print a 12 page Word document that was just text. It has always been this slow.
The user interface is counter intuitive as well. Sometimes to press one button to fax a document, sometimes you press a different one to fax.
It was also sent to us with a broken toner cartridge that required two trips to the repair place to get somewhat fixed. (we're not supposed to open the cartridge drawer until they're all empty).
And despite how big the printer is, the paper tray has quite low capacity.
Pros: Small Footprint
Cons: Slow Print Speed

Not a reliable wireless printer

I am sorry to say that the imageCLASS MF8080Cw is constantly losing its wireless connection to my computer. This has become very frustrating and disappointing. Thanks to the Canon support team, I can easily re-connect, but having to do so just about every day is annoying.

The fax on this machine when set to auto answer has trouble recognizing a phone call from a fax call. As a result within 30 seconds up to 3 minutes your phone calls get cut off as the machine thinks it is a fax call. Very annoying and Canon have replaced this machine but the problem still exists.

First Laser printer

This is the first laser printer that I have purchased and chose Canon because they have always made a good laser printer. I am very happy with the printer and the only complaint I have is the printer not coming out of sleep mode all the time when printing to it. I typically have to send the print job again once the priner wakes up.
For the price the print speed, scan speed are good and if you are looking for a faster printer then you will have to pay more, but if you want a good home laser printer/scanner this printer works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
