pay extra for broiler pan ?!?!?!
on September 24, 2021
Posted by: whizzo
Buy the broiler pan and griddle separately ?!!!! Frigidaire needs to milk every penny they can from the consumer?! As if the cost of a new stove isn't enough.
Response from frigidaire.comBy BiancaOnline Outreach Specialist September 27, 2021
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us, whizzo! Throughout the appliance industry, it is common to find that the included broiler pan has been phased out mostly over the last several years.
The broiler pans and griddles are optional accessories, as many features in the oven can be used without them. If you would like to share more with us, please feel free to contact us via Chat Mon-Fri 8:30 am-8:00 pm EST. -Bianca

This is a Water Filter BYPASS not a Water Filter.
on September 19, 2020
Posted by: agentexeider
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is more as a PSA and not a critique of Frigidaire. You need to understand the difference between a Water Filter and Water Filter Bypass. Both look exactly the same, in face the bypass uses the same body as the filter to fit into the fridge, but there is NO FILTER CARBON inside the bypass!! THIS IS NOT A FILTER.
This means that if you don't have some other kind of filter system, for example a whole house filter or kitchen water filtration, this means the bypass will run basically pure tap water into your fridge, which means your ice and your water will be tap water.
The reason bypasses exist is because of the gaining popularity of whole house filtration systems, in fact builders of new homes often offer this, either adding it into the price of your home or a third party finance options, etc. Point is, the water running through the house is already filtered, sometimes twice depending on the system and filtering again inside the fridge is redundant, and replaceing filters becomes pointless. Hence the bypass was invented to allow fridge water/ice systems to keep working without wasting a filter.
So if you DON'T have a whole house filtration or kitchen water filtration system like that, then you shouldnt replace your filter with this part, this is not a filter and thus your water will change from pure to "tasting bad" or off. You need actual water filters.
Hope this helps clear the confusion.

Knobs are peeling paint
on January 4, 2021

The foil/metallic paint used on these plastic knobs has peeled off and looks horrible. Every time someone touches them more paint peels off. Our range is only 3 years old! Knobs are way to expensive to replace. Feels like a scam.

Heirloom Quality Set
on October 25, 2019
Posted by: heather89
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the sturdiest measuring cups I've ever used. The design and thickness of the set makes me believe that these will last a really long time. I also like that the measurements are engraved into the handle in an easy-to-read font. My old set was plastic and after years of use, the markings on the handles had completely washed away. I really get the impression that these cups will stand the test of time, like an heirloom set that gets handed down to grandchildren. The only drawback I found was the width of the cups. If you have a container with a very small opening, the larger 2 cups may not fit inside. The cups are shorter and wider than my other set, but I actually like that because they don't tip over when pouring liquid into them. So unless you're regularly scooping out of tiny containers, I would definitely recommend this set.

Heavy Duty!
on October 25, 2019
Posted by: emchi
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cups are heavy duty stainless steel and much more resilient than other sets I've had previously. They don't tip over which has been an issue with other cups I've had where the handle is heavier than the cup itself. They can go into the dishwasher which for me is a huge bonus. They are also slightly curved out so I don't lose any of the ingredients getting stuck in the seam when working with yogurt/sour cream/etc. I think these will last me a very long time. They're a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These stainless steel measuring cups are functional, stylish, and make measuring super easy and convenient. I use them practically everyday. I received these measuring cups for free in exchange for a review.
