Plus my daughter didn't notice a difference in air quality. Tried to ship back for refund, but shipping costs so high, not worth it...am trying to recoup a little from craigslist now. Unhappy.

Had thos for 18 months then sold it. Worked OK just very noisy for the bedroom. The longer I had it the noisier it got and that was on low. Filters are expensive and tricky to get in. For the cost of 2 sets of filters you can buy a new unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this purifier just over a month ago after experiencing really bad allergies from moving to a new region, and so far, my experience with this purifier has been great. I leave it on medium 24/7, which would be loud for sleeping, but fine for daytime activities. My husband complains a bit about the constant hum, but it's no worse than a room fan. So far, our allergies have been fine so far, but we'll see once I've made it through an entire calendar year and all of the seasons.

Ok peeps, ALL purifiers are loud. Define loud to each individual. Yep they are loud compared to silence. I use these for white noise to be able to sleep to drown out outside noises. I have had this machine for years...and it's still going strong. I use it for smaller rooms. I buy bigger purifiers for bigger rooms. clean air is important since our air outside is no longer clean either. We must do our best to keep ourselves healthy. You can NEVER go wrong purchasing an air purifier. its worth it.
