Loud fan

This air purifier does what I bought it for, but it is very loud. Fortunately, it's in my son's bedroom, and not in mine. He likes the fan volume because it's white noise and helps him to go to sleep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Burned up after power outage

I had this 4 mos, and although the output air shot out sideways in back, I had no issues with this. But when we had a brief power outage (power surge), the unit began to smell like burned wire when the power was restored, huffed and puffed, then just quit. I have 2 Holmes Air Purifiers and the other still works fine. Would I recommend this product? Probably not for where I live due to frequent power surges where I live.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pulls in a lot of dust and pollutants as evidenced by what I find when I clean it each week. The only drawback is that it is a little noisy. I have gotten used to it, though, and I don't notice it most of the time.

good but short lived

This lasted a year or two, most others have gone on day & night for several years. Otherwise comparable. Love the white, blends in way better than black. I am so tired of black everything.

noticeable difference in the air

With a dog and 4 cats and a dusty house, our new air filter brought about noticeably cleaner air within the first 24 hours. It seems to be a durable product but time will tell so I can't attest to that.
