It requires many tries to get the cap on properly.surely it can be designed better.

I inherited a Holmes Cool Mist Humidifier Tower from a past house mate, but when I dropped the water canister and got a hole in the top, it stopped working so I wanted to buy another. I have a wood stove which means a humidifier is essential to keep the air breathable and keep the plants from dying. I've had other humidifiers in the past, but this model is the best. It is light and convenient, easy to fill, easy to purchase and insert filters, and just all around user friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased one of these 10 years ago and it does a great job still. We decided we needed to buy two more of these to replace a different style humidifier that was not as good or reliable. We are glad that we bought two more of this model (360) because the newer version has some refinements including being a quieter running machine. These have been running day and night this winter and are doing an excellent job.
