After two weeks with this humidifier, I am pleased with it. It is much quieter than my previous Bonaire model. The one snag is the water container can be hard to fill so you should be careful it doesn't slip out of your hands.

Great for bedroom, it is so quiet. I have forgotten to turn off in the morning, because I don't hear it running. We live in high desert of Nevada, where humidity is often in the single digits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the older version for years and bought two new ones three months ago.
In dry climate like AZ, works great. Ups humidity and also cleans air. I like the very slight hum at night, so my sleep is not disturbed. Turn on about 10:30P every night.
Older version, not Holmes ( but now owned by Holmes) lasted 7 - 8 years.
