great washer for condo space!

We bought this washer after our last one died. It was very hard to find a washer that was not only compact but had regular hook ups. The width needed to be under 42inches, which is not easy to get unless you are looking for one to hook up to your kitchen sink. The mid line hinged lid was what sold us. We have a shelf above the washer space where the dryer is, and clearance is only a half a foot or so. GE is known for quality equipment so it was a plus that they had this size washer. We have done probably 50plus cycles with no problem. We are very happy with this purchase!

It fits in my closet !

I purchased this Washer in August 2016 to put in my main floor closet (Not designed for a washer!) It just fit inside, This simple to operate washer is quiet, has several cycles, and fulfills my need to avoid going down the basement stairs. I'm very satisfied with this washer and would buy another one any time. This the BEST washer of this size on the market. The 2.6 cubit feet capacity is plenty for me. Consider buying one. You won't be disappointed!

I've used the washer about 3 or so times so far and am loving it. It is so quiet that i forget it's even running. The "finish" signal is not startling or too loud, but loud enough so you know that the wash is done. The cycle is longer than my old washer, (45 min vs 30 min) but that is not a big deal. There is a "short" cycle which i used recently when washing 1 sheet. It was 27 mins. This washer has plenty of space for my use - i can fit most of my regular wear clothes in 1 load.

Bought this unit about 3 months ago, and we're very pleased. Is easy to program and it has one gallon larger capacity tub than the previous model that was installed. We like the filter system - appears to be effective and easy to clean.

Space Machine

Our big old machine used to barely fit in the counter and leaked all over. So I put the big old GE outside and it hasn't leaked again. Ordered this new little machine in January, but it arrived with a dent in the front, so we declined shipment. The new little machine arrived in perfect condition and works great for my wife & I and fits in the counter with room to spare and no leaks! It does sound strange like a little space ship in the kitchen. My wife goes, "Is it suppose to sound like that?" Yeah and it has buttons to get rid of the beeps, but I like them. Now for small loads we can do them in the house, and for big loads like comforters & bed sheets we can use the old GE outside in the pantry.

Sweet Space Saver

I've been using this washer for a week. It automatically measures for the correct amount of water to wash the clothes, etc. quite well. The size is as described in its ad and fits wonderfully next to standard depth cabinets as does the coordinating dryer. The clear view lid is appreciated. The washer has its own vibration dampening pads, which are necessary as it does have a strong spin cycle and does vibrate. Leave an inch or so on each side of the washer to allow for the vibration.
