This washer fits in my apartment closet

I just bought this GE 2.6 cu. ft washer as my old 1982 apartment size washer finally quit. I have done several loads and am very pleased with its large capacity even though it is a small apartment size. It does a great job of washing. The easy-to-use electronic controls along with the automatic water level,and numerous cycles just add to its usefulness. It is the first time I have used a non-agitator on the bottom of the tub but found it is very gentle on all the clothes and best of all it is quiet!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased based on size but very impressed by performance. Fits perfectly and wash is great without agitator. New HE washer is great uses nearly any soap. Feature packed with built in conveniences (Detergent/Softener/Bleach dispensers)

From the 1st load, I could tell this was an awesome little washer! Clothes came out cleaner than ever WITHOUT the traditional middle turnstile! AMAZING! Modern design in a small package with lots of wash cycle options!

I had a compact GE washer that was here when I moved into my condo. It had to be original from 1989. Yes, I am serious. It started to have issues, so I did my research and at the end this GE compact washer was the obvious choice. To say I love it is an understatement! Quiet, efficient, large tub, and ease of use. What a pleasure!!! So happy with this purchase, I shopped around and got a great price too! Too bad we have to pay so much more for compact machines, but no buyers regret here. I have my original dryer from 1989 and will buy the GE dryer when the time comes.

Small Space Fit -Big Washer Capability

Not an inexpensive washer, but our doorway was too narrow so we had limited choices. This is a great washer. It holds enough for our 2 person household with room to spare.It has an impeller instead of an agitator and it makes for bigger loads but does the job. In tub cleanable lint filters are easily accessible. We are very happy...and I am even more pleased as I am 5'4" and it's just right for unloading without struggling.

ALMOST PERFECT!!!

I love my condo on the river, overlooking a lovely park with a jewel-box marina just outside my nearly floor-to-ceiling windows! Maybe I'd love it more if it was in Florida, but SE Michigan is getting better and better every day! Only thing I didn't like was not having my own W/D in my kitchen. What a drag!!! So I went on line and shopped until I was cross-eyed to find THE (almost) PERFECT GE to bring me a healthy dose of civilization. No more getting appropriately dressed/made up and combed and parading my dirty clothes through the hallways and elevators to the very well-appointed laundry room . . . and back!!! This wonderful machine is quiet, efficient and ecology-observant, and whatever I wash comes out perfectly clean. It has every conceivable setting, from hand wash through delicates to heavy duty and it can be adjusted or changed or added to at every point during the cycle. I added a GE dryer that runs on regular house power. I've had very good results from all my GE appliances, so I'm a fan -- I put it on a wheeled platform so I can move it to the kitchen sink. I'd have given my GEs another star, a perfect score, if they were made in the USA.
