This shredder has been perfect for boxes of paper my wife has accumulated. It does exactly what it is capable of. The trash bin is a bit on the small size but it is perfect for under the desk placement. Also with the lower profile it can be used without dragging it from under the desk.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Warranty, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Jam Resistance
Cons: doesn't shred cd's

What a Christmas gift!

I received this for Christmas and so far it has been an incredible gift. I have been so far behind on getting personal information shredded that the papers began stacking up pretty high. I Began working on the back log of papaerwork since Christmas and it has been simply fantastic. No jamming, no over heating, and most importantly no hassles. I love it!

The size and shape with the bin being removed from the narrow side allowed it to be place in a better place (narrower)

New Purchase

Recently purchased product. Seems to work well for its intended purpose. It is noisier than other shredders I have had. I was asked to complete a survey when I registered the product. I indicated the shredder was for home use, then answered several ?s about home use, then was asked ?s about office use, which were not relevant, so I cancelled the survey.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Mess Reduction
Cons: pretty noisy

Safest Shredder

Pretty happy with the operation so far, had no issues with the paper jamming, which was quite frequent with my last one. Also what I like about this one is the peace of mind you have with the SafeSense technology. I usually have kids around the area, and I used to be worried. Also the other day I shredded a big stack, and was able to run it continuously for a while without a break or the shredder getting hot. Happy with the style as well, this thing looks pretty stylish with the shining black color. The best part is I don't need to lift the head and place it on the floor when emptying the basket. That used to be a pain with my last one. Don't have to worry about it anymore. As for Quiet operation, it's not all that quiet as they claim it to be.

Cons: Warranty, Quiet Operation

JUST ALITTLE FIX

THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF THIS MACHINE IS GREAT AND I LIKE THE NEW SAFTY FEATURES. BUT EMPTYING THE BASKET IS MESSY. NO MATTER HOW YOU TRY TO PUSH THE PAPER DOWN BEFORE PULLING OUT THE BASKET, IT STILL SPILLS INSIDE AND OUT LEAVING A MESS TO CLEAN UP.

Most Outstanding Purchase I Ever Made

I have had two other shredders in the past, paid double the price of the Fellowes didn't last over a year, second one worked part of the time, then just quit working for no reason. I love my new shredder, workes great like you would expect a shredder to do. You will never be disappointed with a Fellowes Shredder, great value for your money.
