Very Disappointed with the washer. Too deep for me to reach clothes in bottom. Too, too noisy during cycles. Softener container difficult to hit with normal size jug, then even if only partially filled leaves residue on the agitator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have used our washer for several months and can find nothing to complain about and lots to enjoy. It's quiet, cleans very well, and seems to be energy efficient. We like the capacity of the drum and the selections on the controls are more than sufficient. Good product.

I really like everything about it. The only thing is that is does not spin as fast as my old one, because my clothes are wetter than before and take a little longer to dry. But other than that I really like it and it does a superb job of cleaning my clothes.

A quality product that is durable, basic but good looking ??_ preferably without the digitalized dashboard of unnecessary cycle options. Our motto: fewer bells and whistles??_ less possibilities for failures.
Our new (July 2014) made in the USA Amana NTW4701BQ and NED4700YQ washer and dryer fit the bill??_ and we couldn??t be happier.
