Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened up the box it came in and I could instantly see that it is good quality! this is the perfect size to travel or in my case its perfect for my small apartment! it does not take up alot of space and it folds for even better storage. It heats up evenly too.

After one use I'd say it's pretty good..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly: I followed the directions and it took me less than an hour to assemble the grill. The assembly instructions did not include a list of tools for assembly. I used a #2 Philips screwdriver, a 1/2" wrench, and a box cutter. The scissored legs made me second guess myself, likely because the spring that joins the grill legs was inverted when compared to the assembly drawings. And then the legs also kept opening up and sliding around, so I propped the legs on the edge of the box which sped up assembly. The first time I collapsed the grill, it felt wrong. I wish the assembly instruction image for that step had a arrow indicating direction the the legs will move as you collapse them.
Use: The cast iron grates heated nicely. I was able get fairly good grill marks after 15-20 minutes of preheating. I liked that the small bottles are cheap and easy to get.
Weather: The grill has been on my back porch for a couple weeks and it seems to be holding up really well.
Conclusion: I like it.

Easy to transport in off season

I bought the first grill & manufactures put together backwards . So Home Depot returned & I ordered new sent to store. When they called it was in & ready for pickup , I requested the free assembly. Today I picked it up & doing the preliminary, according to directions , 15 minute burn cook to “prime “ it before first cooking . I ordered this cuz I am single woman who didn’t want a huge grill & the easy close to put away when I would want . Recommend to all who have the needs or wants that I have for thus item.

Poor Quality Control

I just received this grill and had to fix a couple issues related to quality control. The latch that holds the lid closed was badly bent and was coming apart. Also, one of the brackets on the bottom of the grill that holds the grease tray was badly bent and would not hold the tray in. I had to bend both the latch and the tray bracket and then tighten up the rivets on the bracket to get the grill in functioning shape. There was no damage to the box and everything seemed packed up securely so I can only attribute the two issues with poor quality control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the coolest compact grills out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I’ve had this product for quite some time and i must say it’s been a life saver due to its compact build. I’ve been able to use this not only at home but on camping trips, tailgating events and even taking to a friends house when their grill crapped out on them in the middle of grilling. Affordable gas tanks can be purchased at grocery stores in two packs and a single can lasts for 5-6 long period grill sessions. Super easy to clean and very lightweight. A must have for all grilling fanatics.
