[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is very portable and convenient, yet big enough to cook on for our family of 5. Moves easily from back patio to camper. Great buy! Highly recommend!

Great Idea - Difficult to Assemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grill works great; is great idea for camping, but was hard to put together and did not feel "solid" once assembled. Collapsing to roll away was also a bit difficult. Overall I think it works for what it was made for, but is a bit fussy to deal with moving around after put together.

Better than expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly took about 30 minutes, easy to follow instructions. We got this to replace a small camping grill that we used on the tailgate of the pickup. It's larger and sturdier than expected. Collapses to about 15" when folded. Easy to move around with the wheels. The fold-out shelves fit nicely under the hood, and off the grate (which, if you're like me is really good because I don't always clean it right away). My husband especially likes the rounded burner which seems to cook more evenly. There's an adapter available if you want to add the larger bottle of propane, but the small bottles work great and are less cumbersome if you're roughing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this folds up and is secure. We took this to the lake for a afternoon fishing trip. It was very easy to put together and pack up. I do wish the side fold out tray were fully removable for better cleaning. The grill heated evenly and grilling was breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill was easy to assemble, took us less than 20 minutes. We tested our new grill this weekend, and out definitely lived up to our expectations. We cooked for 7 people on it and it comes evening evenly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this grill about a week ago, and ordered a hose adapter to use the larger 20# propane tanks with it. I assembled the grill in about 20 minutes and had it up and going in no time
First, let me say that I have had many portable grills over the years and this one takes it to a new level. The fit and finish on is great. So much so that I have decided to make my primary propane grill for the house. As mentioned above you can add an adapter hose and use the standard 20# propane tank, plus you retain the option and portability to use the smaller canisters when and where needed. It was in the upper forties, raining, with gusty winds and the grill self-ignite with minimal effort of turning the knob. I sat the grill on high to see how hot it would get. In a time period of about 7-10 minutes the thermometer on the lid of the grill read 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I used an infrared temperature gun and the grilling surface read 819 degrees Fahrenheit. The grill did heat up quickly. When I placed some, mostly frozen, chicken on the grill and closed the lid it rebounded to 350 degrees in a matter of minutes. At 15,000 btu I was able to cook the chicken in the same amount of time it would have taken me on any other gas grill or using my pellet smoker/grill.
Pros Fit and finish is nice (stainless lid, stainless side tables, wheels and stand) Heats quickly 240 square inch "porcelain enamel coated cast iron grill surface" Portability Sizeable vaporizer to discourage flare-ups and distribute heat 10" X 10 " positive locking side tables. Heavy duty stand. Easy collapse and go design. Set-up is easy as well. Twist-start electric ignition
Cons Food is closer to the burner and it gets hot in a hurry, watch for flare-ups (not a this model issue, but dynamics of a smaller grill space) Does not come with an adapter hose for 20# bottles. Makes me rethink other grilling options I currently have, will cause me to probably make a change and use this more often.
