Defective does not work

No support no solution but does not pass signal in any mode, with any capture software attempted (Debut, OBS). Crashes Windows every time it connects.

Stable connection and not dropping frames

The conversion that this part does is of a better quality than other usb capture items do. The software that comes with it does not work yet with Windows10(yet) Startech has a great customer service department!

high quality recordings

I bought this device several years ago and encountered bad software issues in the past.
But the latest software release is excellent, and a breeze to install (I uninstalled
all old stuff first). As always, high quality recordings, but what's still missing is 'Pause recording", OBS can pause. Apart from that, best software ever.
