A very good refrigerator, but not perfect

We had an older GE refrigerator (a side-by-side freezer/fridge) that had been operating pretty flawlessly for a long time but we wanted more space in the fridge section and so stuck with the GE brand and upgraded to this model.
It is a solid performer but I have a couple of complaints about it.
1. It is noticeably noisier than our prior model. Not enough to want to throw it to the curb, but enough that when we're hanging around the kitchen it's just on the edge of being intrusive.
2. Unlike the prior model, the brushed stainless steel surface is NOT magnetic which relegated our collection of travel-based magnets somewhat useless. :-(
We also have had a couple of problems with the fan in the fridge section and had to have it serviced twice within the first six months. Luckily GE is very good about servicing their appliances and, at least right now, things appear to be running just fine.
We are quite happy with the fridge itself, very spacious and we're now able to fit larger items and containers in the fridge without any issue. The ice maker and water dispenser have been operating without any issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this in January. Right off the bat, had to have repair person fix leak in water dispenser. He said that it was common problem with this model. After fixing it, water leakage was no longer an issue. Other than that, it's a great fridge.
