It just arrived today. Looks good. A lot of space on top. However, no space for wine bottle and not a lot space for soda cans.
The installation guy did not install the shelf which he should. It took me a while to figure out where the pieces going.

I just replaced the kitchen refrigerator with this 26 cft GE product and it is working
well. no problems so far. I am pleased with my decision to buy American brand than some one else.

This refrigerator was installed today and we noticed that it makes a relatively loud noise. It is much louder than our old refrigerator.

Do not like that one can lock or turn off ice

I do not like that the ice maker can be locked or turned off and there is not a light or something to let you know. You find out when you connot get ice. Then you have to wait for the ice maker to make ice!

I received this refrigerator as an upgraded option of the appliance package through purchase of my new construction home. The water filter is a bit difficult to replace and if not done properly will easily break the mechanism, so careful attention is required. I also do not think the water filter is sufficient as the so called "filtered water" does not taste so well, even after dumping the first few gallons. Compared to my counter top zero water filter, the fridge filtered water is sub par. This refrigerator does not include an additional ice maker in the bottom freezer drawer, so there's limited ice collected in the door to fill up a cooler with ice from home. In addition, I was told by a GE rep, after an initial service call for fridge noise complaints, that the fridge is so "energy efficient" that the extra noises are from the appliance self-collaborating itself during non-peak usage hours calculated after tracking when we open & close the fridge the most. It's very technologically advanced - any rep can come connect the fridge to a computer and track each time the doors have been opened and for how long (pretty cool). Also, the handles easily smudge and the water dispenser drips leaving water marks. I haven't found a good product yet to keep them clean. Other than those issues noted above, the fridge and freezer sections are good sizes and temperature settings seem sufficient for adequate cooling.

Replaced a leaky one and this one does not leak. Had to replace floor. So glad this one doesn't leak
