GE Refrigerator

After about 5 yrs, the freezer constantly freezes up the collection pan/tube, so then the freezer leaks pools of water. It used to be a good unit, now it is ruing my floors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the money

Nothing but frustration. In 7 years, I've had to replace the fans multiple times because the food started to freeze in the drawers. I had to unclog the drain in the back because it caused water to backup in to the bottom freezer and start leaking out the bottom. Our ice maker takes over a day to produce a full bucket. The door to the ice broke because it was frozen shut and I had to pry it open. Sad to see the GE name producing garbage appliances

Terrible ice-maker

The interior layout is fine, but we’ve had problems with the ice make from day 1. It is constantly clogging up. When we dispense water, the setting automatically changes to crushed ice. Now,in the last week, fridge temps don’t hold steady. Set temperature at 34, but milk (and other perishables) spoil while items store in crisper drawer freeze. It has been a long, frustrating 7 years of ownership. Sorry, but never again will I own another GE Refrigerator.

Nothing but trouble and disappointment with the ice-maker since Day 1. Within the week, fridge temperatures don’t hold steady. Milk has soured. Temp set at 34. Unit is 7 years old now.
