This is the 3rd refridgerator I have purchased int he last 5 years because of relocating for GE. All of them have been GE models and as always I have been satisifed with the product.

I bought this refrigerator over 3 months ago and I really like it. Its very spacious and has plenty of shelves. The lock feature on the ice maker is cool. The product is energy efficient. NOTE: The filter is expensive to replace!

This was a upgrade I chose when purchasing our home. It chills well, it's nice and bright inside and nice and wide. However, the spacing is off. I can't get a normal size bottle of juice or a pitcher to stand up on the shelf without removing a shelf. The shelves don't slide back to hel make the accommodation while keeping shelf space. Therefore, milk, bottled juice, etc. has to be laid on its side or put on the door, taking away space for other things. The shelving on the door that has the ice maker is shallow, narrow and limiting. The ice maker spews chips (and this is for cubes not crushed ice ) and misses the cup unless you hold the cup close to the opening, don't put the cup on the self, ice will be all over the floor. I plan to have someone come look at it. Perhaps an adjustment is required.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some issues during installation and setup where door gaskets are not well seated and allowed the gasket frame (white) to show through under the gasket (brown). Removing protective covering from the ice maker activation was difficult and may have caused a water leak from the ice maker unit.
After installation - we were very happy with the internal layout and flexibility of shelf placement. Capacity is good and cooling is good. Temperatures seem to run low relative to the indicated setpoints. The only real remaining complaint is that the ice in the storage bin tends to melt and refreeze sometimes limiting fill of the dispenser. I have to open the access and shake the bin occasionally.

Lot's of room

Good use of space. Tempurature seems to hold pretty well. Ice maker sometimes gets clogged and won't produce ice, you need to pull it out and clear the jam. Other then that, works great and looks good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
