Love all of the compartments

We bought this refrigerator because it had everything we wanted. Love the deep cup/pitcher holder. You can actually hold a large glass under the ice and water spouts without getting splashed all over. I love all the drawers and/or compartments. It even tells you how to store vegetables or fruits

New refrigerator after ours couldn't be fixed

Purchased this refrigerator and it was delivered the same day. Delivery guys did a great job with getting frig in our house and hooked up. Even went as far as cleaning a black mark from either removing old frig or installing new, off our tile. We've only had this frig for a few days now, but it's working good and it's pretty quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It looks great, love the interior layout, shelves are easy to adjust, love the in the door ice maker, freezer holds more than expected, love the turbo feature to help chill things brought in from the supermarket, and the alarm is great for kids that seem to never get the doors all the way closed. I'm a little concerned about all the reviews about the fan motor but it seems like GE stands behind their products so that's great.

Water Filter & General Maintenance

The GE replacement filters for the drinking water are expensive. The generic ones sold at some hardware stores do not work as they don't have the chip in it that the GE ones do. There must be something in the chip to make it work.
Also, I would not purchase another stainless steel appliance. I have to wipe it off every day because of fingerprints and other marks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
