Nice--but does make some unusual noises

Works great, looks good--but there are some unusual clicking and other noises. From reading on line--this appears normal--however I've never heard these sounds come from any refrigerator before

My previous frig kicked the bucket. This refrigerator is just the right size for our family and fits well in our kitchen. It's easy to keep clean. GE is a reputable brand and this product was reasonable priced.

Good fridge for price

I bought this fridge a few months ago and it has survived this really hot summer. It looks great and is spacious even though it looks small from the outside.

Excellent, And Improves on Its Predecessor

We had this model's predecessor about 7 years. Our entry and appliance spaces are constrained so this is the largest we can fit into our house.
Apparently GE enlarged the usable space (by making the working parts smaller?) so there's another usable cubic foot inside. The little things are made more evident, such as ventilation holes on the vegetable crispers being labeled for higher or lower humidity retention.
The only difficulty we had was the freezer fan rattling off-and-on for about a week. A follow-up visit by the store gave only the advice that we shouldn't block the fan intake. This was useful, and our failure to do this probably shortened the life of our prior fridge. The rattling tapered off by itself. Since then, the fridge it is working perfectly.
