I bought this product to replace another refrigerator, and the quality and craftsmanship of this unit far surpasses many of the others that I looked at.

In the beginning, it was good

Not a problem with this fridge for the first year. Now it forms icicles in the freezer, the back of.fridge will freeze stuff and now it makes a high pitched noise when motor kicks on.
This unit is good to get you by short term, but the romance dies quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Secondary Fridge

I was in need of replacing my secondary fridge. I shopped multiple dealers and multiple brands. After evaluating the features, performance specs, and economics of each I determined that the GE product was superior. It was not the lowest priced appliance but its overall value stood alone. It is a great secondary fridge.
