I've had this phone for a couple of weeks now. Have been a Samsung fan for all my smartphone use. We went with this phone at upgrade time because it was FREE on the 2year contract. The overall performance is good, robust even given the speed of the processor. The battery life is EXTRAORDINARY. After it was fully charged I went 3 days before I have had to charge. Granted, I'm not a person that is on my phone constantly, but whereas my Samsung SIII needing to be charged at the end of each day, this helps make the switch that much sweeter. The features are good and the screen size is really good. I was worrisome given that I keep my phones in an Otterbox Defender case...add that to the phone's size and the thought of carrying it on my hip in the holster was a concern for me. But the worry was for not...it fits on my side without any added headache compared to the SIII I had for 2 years. The double-tap to wake up the screen is nice and I'm getting use to the buttons being on the back of the phone. The Menu/Home/Back control buttons being on the screen vs. being on the body of the phone are nice too. I liked the touch of being able to shuffle the order of the buttons to match what I had ben used to on my Samsung....I like the order of Menu-Home-Back (it had come with them set to Back-Home-Menu). The curve of the phone doesn't really do anything for me, but at the same time, it doesn't take away anything either. The screen size is really nice, get more apps per square inch. All-in-all, I've been pleased with going with the LG compared to the Samsungs I was used to. My one draw back is the sound quality is a bit lacking, but I rarely listen to it without headphones and if that's the worst of it, then that ain't bad. Looking forward to getting the new Android 5 version on it when it comes available. I give it 4 out 5 stars because in everything there is always room for improvement.

This is a great phone. I love the large screen. Battery life is amazing. The 720p resolution looks great. I don't notice much difference from a 1080p resolution. Videos look crisp and are great to watch on the 6" screen. Would suggest this phone to anyone wanting a large screen.

I've had mine a year and I still get comments, it still looks great, and it still runs like new using the right app to clear out junk. I'd highly recommend it to anyone with hands large enough to hold it, and the curve makes it easier to hold and carry. I could never be comfortable carrying a phone this size in my pocket if it was flat! The battery capacity is better than any phone I've ever had. Anyway, can't wait for the next one to hit.

I've owned the Lg G Flex for around 5 months. I have been completely happy with my purchase to this date. I only wish the phone came with more memory space & better resolution for pictures but this will hopefully be solved with the Lg G Flex 2.

A Fantastic Phone!

Had I known that this phone was so big, I wouldn't have chosen it. This phone has effectively replaced my tablet for reading using my Nook app. The battery lasts such a ridiculously long timetime that I feel spoiled. Check this out: I went to work, and after seven hours of work with a few conversations, some texting, viewing of emails; the battery was STILL at 100%!! I was stunned! It comes with an infrared remote control built in, the specs also say that also it has an FM radio but I have not seen anyany evidence of one.
What made me choose this phone was the fact that it has 2GB of RAM for handling multiple applications. I purchased it online without first paying attention to the phone's dimensions. It is bigger than Samsung's Galaxy Note. When I think of a 'phablet,' I think of the Note. The LG G Flex's dimensions: go get an unopened foil package of Pop-Tarts. Take one of them out. Stretch the foil package so that there are no wrinkles. That is the length, width, and height of the G Flex. Put the Pop-Tart back in and you approximate the weight. I recommended the LG G2 as a smaller phone with similar specs. The LG G Flex is a man's phone.
