Great Phone!

I purchased my phone 7 months ago, being my first smartphone, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am pleased to say that it has surpassed all of the expactations I did have. My wife loves the slide-out QWERTY pad and I love using the onscreen option. Great functionality, sleek look....... yeah it's a very nice phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

My phone service carrier was horrible. After a few months the phone started acting up. It was turning off randomly; sometimes in the middle of calls, middle of a game, and so on. I liked the slide out key board and camera link to Facebook.
Cons: Poor quality

I like this because it has a keyboard and its touch and the screen is a nice nice. It is very modern and lightweight. I like that the camera is front facing too. I would have liked if I could save like $50 bucks though but I guess it was worth it. It would have been nice to get a bluetooth or something with it. Maybe I am being cheap but times are hard.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

A big step up from the Prevail
on November 15, 2011

The Transform Ultra is my second Android phone, my first being the Galaxy Prevail. As soon as the Ultra was available, I sold my Prevail and picked this up right away. It exceeded my expectations. Before the Prevail, I had a Sanyo Incognito with Boost that had a full Qwerty keyboard. That was one of the things I really wanted, and this phone's keyboard is great.
Here is one area that the Prevail was actually better in, and that I hope the Ultra can be improved upon with a firmware update:
As mentioned by others before, the screen sensitivity needs to be adjusted/tweaked. On the Prevail, I could long hold on an app or widget on the home screen and drag it around to the next screen, or drag it down to delete it, with ease and with the tip of my finger. On the Ultra, I have to use the whole pad of my finger or my thumb. I've seen others say that it works better if they use two fingers. And that doesn't always work properly either. The phone seems to think your finger has been lifted off of the screen when it has not.
It has made some games, like Solipskier (where all you do is hold down your finger to create a slope for the skier to ski on) completely unplayable. Slopes don't stay in a solid line, even when my finger hasn't been lifted off the screen. It may be affecting other games that use on screen joysticks as well, as sometimes those are glitchy. The screen sensitivity problems have been noticed by many others. I also witnessed it on my cousin's phone, who bought her's at the same time I bought mine. It also seems to be just as sensitive on the version released for Sprint.
Overall, this phone has surpassed my expectations, and really does seem to be able to do anything. The one flaw is that dragging issue. Hopefully, that can be fixed.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, fast processor, qwerty keyboard, android 2.3 gingerbread, the fact that it's not apple.
Cons: screen sensitivity/dragging issues
