I love everything about this phone. It looks nice with the metal wrapping around the sides. The physical android keys so you don't accidentally hit them are nice as well. It has a flash on the camera which is very bright. The 1ghz snapdragon provides for a very nice and fluid experience on the phone. I didn't experience any lag. With all the dual cores coming out it seems like it isn't that fast, but it works wonderfully on the phone and everything loads fine with a smooth transition. I also like that it doesn't come with a lot of bloat wear and gingerbread works nicely on it. Gingerbread gives you a feature which is almost like spell check. You can go back to a misspelled word and it will give you options of other words it could be changed to. It can render adobe flash very well. The physical keyboard is nice with the space key on its own row. The weight of the phone is light, but doesn't feel cheap. The slide mechanism on the screen is very solid and feels nice and stable. Screen is nice and responsive. I am very happy with this phone.
Now for the not so good.
The screen resolution is good, but not great. Colors do look very true, which Samsung excels on.Coming from a blackberry the sound quality could be better, but it isn't bad at all, just not as good as my blackberry. The speaker phone could be louder. Battery life is average. Not horrible, but not great if you play around on the phone a lot. The front camera is only a .3 and a little grainy at times, but its mostly for video chat and with it having less pixels it doesn't have to sent as much information over the airwaves so I can understand that.

Over all I highly recommend this phone. Especially since it is available as a prepaid version on Boost Mobile. The snapdragon and gingerbread make it a very solid quick phone and the metal styling gives it a higher end look without the high price. The keyboard is also an extremely nice addition and one of the main factors why I purchased it. Great job Samsung. You made an amazing phone.

I love this phone. I had purchased another Android phone a few months ago and had trouble texting on the touch screen as I kept hitting other buttons so I went back to my old Sanyo Incognito. As soon as I saw this Android with a keyboard I was so excited and immediately purchased it. I LOVE IT... Now I have an Android phone and a keyboard to text easier. I love everything about this phone.
Pros: Inexpensive

Finally, a decent Android phone from Boost Mobile. Happy to report it is very good. It's fast, has a nice screen, and the big keyboard is very welcomed for long messages. I was afraid it was going to be laggy like Boost's Galaxy, but that's not the case. The only issue I've had after two days of heavy use is when relocating the apps; it sometimes ends up opening other applications because you lose "grip" of the app you're dragging.
It's no Galaxy S II, but it still deserves 5 starts when combined with Boost mobile.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this phone is much better than my last phone, has all the perks of the android phone. and has adobe flash which is a big plus. i would definately recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a exelent phone

its a very good phone no lag/freeze web speed is great design is awsome and i love it but my problem is the screen its a little bit too sensitive and i hope samsung push out an update to fix it soon it can be very annoying dragging apps around the screen heres a link below

Great phone, when it actually works

I have had this phone for almost a year and have had nothing but problems. This phone has issues staying charged and activated. It quickly cycles between charging, not charging, charging, not charging...without being connected to the charge cord at all. The only way it stops is when it actually is connected to the charge cord but this issue effectively fries the battery and makes it so that you constantly have to be tethered to a power source to use the phone at all. My phone is currently with the repair technicians now, for the 4th time since I've had it. Unless they replace the phone with a new one or completely different phone altogether, I only have faith that when the phone is returned to me, it will work for another month or two, just long enough for my warranty to have run out. DO NOT buy this phone. It's only great while it lasts, which isn't very long.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, a true lemon of a phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
