Love this machine does what it says it does. The slicing blade is adjustment from thin to thick is great to have. The proformace of this kitchen Aid is wonderful. The base is heavy duty which I love, has the stablity, you don't have to worry about it vibrating. The extra accessory Chef case makes it so nice for storagae. It is big base but you know what you got with this 13 cup Kitchen Aid. It can handle those big loads you put on it. I do lots of canning in the fall and this machine can handle all that slicing and chopping. I have other kitchen Aid products in my kitchen and they are built to last. I would recommend this to anyone that has a small or big family.

I got this for Christmas this past year and I have used it consistently through the week. I was worried I might not use it too much. I love it and use it for everything from making homemade re-fried beans to dough shredding cheese to slicing potatoes for au gratin. A perfect compliment to my kitchen.
