I love how quiet my machine is to use even cutting carrots and apples. My old machine was so loud my husband would have to crank up the TV in the next room to be able to listen to his programs. I also love the ability to select the thickness of slices. I sliced real thin slices of lemon and lime for my last set of cocktails and they were quite the rage.

Very quiet and smooth when it's operating. I love the fact that it's 13 cup capacity and came with the storage bin which is really nice for organizing all the blades and disks.

Light weight and easy to clean

I have to say that this does the job I purchased it for which is to cut up large amount of raw veggies quickly. It chops and slices efficiently. The easily adjusting blade is a good feature. I love the storage case for the blades. I find the smaller inside container to be pretty useless since when it's all assembled it runs roughly and there is some plastic that looks like the blade is hitting it. I used it once and was dismayed so that's that. The machine works fine except for this. The quality is not what I used to expect from Kitchen Aid, but what is nowadays? I seldom right reviews but they do help me when I purchase items, so I hope this is helpful. If you're interested in prepping large amounts of fresh vegetables quickly, then this is your tool.
