I have used this for about 3 months. It has exceeded my expectations. I use it a lot for pies, dough, and it is easy to use. I haven't needed to use the extra stuff but it it may come in handy for the holidays.

Overall, I am pleased with my kitchen aid food processor. There are a few design flaws that make the process more than annoying? for starters, the blades come with "finger holes" which make it easier to handle the sharp blade, BUT the holes also allow plenty of large chunks to pass through the blade into the bowl. I have had to sift through my grated veggies and cheeses to re-process. Even then, I can't get the smaller pieces to actually grate because they fall through the hole. There has to be another way to handle the blade than placing large holes in the middle of it. :) Second, when I tried making bread dough in this machine, the dough quickly became stuck in the machine as it worked its way through the center post and into the base. I will never try and make bread dough in this machine again, which is only sad because they advertised this feature. Other than that, its a very strong machine that gets the job done easily. I have always wanted this machine and I use it at least once a week.
Pros: easy to use, Performance
Cons: Design

I use my food process almost everyday. I have five kids and days are so busy. I get dinners ready the night before by cutting up the veggies. When I'm done I just put it in the dish washer.

So far I love all the different options this has, however my blades rusted at base of the blade. I washed and completely dried it off to avoid rusting. I haven't had the time to get them replaced.

After shedding plenty of blood and skin on mandolins over the years, not to mention the extra time, this was a MUST HAVE!! There is a bit of a learning curve, but they include a really nice instruction manual and a quick reference guide, with a few uses its easy. We buy more fresh food this way and just freeze the excess. It works great for blending food for our 8 month old as well. I think my favorite part is how many more vegetables we use because now the prep time is cut in half. We probably grill and stir fry twice as much as we used to, and running onions through this is nearly tear free!
