I've used this unit 10 times now and like the product. I previously had a Cuisinart Original for 10+ years and decided to try a Kitchenaid. What could be better with this product: it is hard to clean all of the nooks and crannies, and impossible to dry. I like that is has a seal but concerned that it will dry out quickly or worse, food will get caught in it an I will have to remove the seal every time I clean. The Cuisinart was easier to clean and use, the food/blade pureed the food better than the Kitchenaid. I like that this comes with a case to hold all of the attachments. I'm trying to get used to how the attachments work, etc. I have a hard time getting the bowl off the workbase with the blade still inside the bowl (I should be able to pull the bowl off the work base without having to remove the blade first--I don't like this). Also, when I received the product it had scuff marks on the I use a processor 1-2 times a day. Overall it is a good product.

I have owned my Kitchenaid food processor for about five months. I read the reviews about the processor before I purchased. I found the reviews very helpful. I really like having two bowl sizes to use for different size recipes. This food processor is quieter and more efficient than my previous processor (Cruisinart). The shredding blade which can be used for both fine and medium shredding is very convenient. I like the variable slicing with a touch of a lever. The quality of the materials is better than my previous processor. The plastic storage container for the various attachments is compact and convenient.. I love the color (red) it goes well with my decor. It was a little difficult to take apart at first but I find that not to be a problem now. When shredding mozzarella cheese I found using a larger piece with the larger feed tube and some pressure to work best. There was a small amount of cheese that did not shred but it was minimal and no more than what I had in my previous processor. When using the smaller work bowl, some of the contents did spill over into the larger bowl with some recipes but I did not find this to be a big issue. This is a powerful,quality product and I would recommend it to my friends and family.
Pros: Design, easy to use, Innovative, Performance, Convenient Features
Cons: doesn't cho mozzarella with multi purpose blade .

I have never owned a food processor that I have enjoyed as much! I love the adjustable blade. Great for slicing vegetables and fruits. 2 size bowls are great and the blade storage box is a must!

I have a 30 year old Hamilton Beach food processor that still works like a charm. I decided that I wanted to upgrade to a larger processor. I have several Kitchen Aid products that I love, so I decided to try this one as it had a large and small bowl and a bread blade and an adjustable slicer. I love this processor! My only complaint is that is a large appliance and takes up quite a bit of storage. But that's OK. It is quite compared to my old processor. I have been very pleased with my purchase.
