1)Clean up could be easier! The lid and cutting blade have pockets and/or grooves that collect food in them making clean up a challenge. Close in the lid except the feed in hole. The blade groove roll the edge tight verse a groove might work. 2) Instructions on how to fit parts together in order use different attachments need to be clearer with pictures.

Not happy with purchase

I got this product about 1 1/2 years ago. A few months after I got it some pieces jammed together and I had to call kitchen aid and they sent me a new unit. I received the new unit. Worked great for the first few months. Now it doesn't work at all when I want to use it. Now I have to call kitchen aid again and try to get it sorted out. Not to mention it is big and bulky.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
