This was the piece in my kitchen that was needed. My husband said that this had to be Raymond proof. I am tough on my machines. This one is just the food processor needed.

I've had the 13-cup food processor for a few months now and am happy with the operation and it is powerful without walking on the counter. Zips through food prep. I only have a couple complaints. Even hand washing, moisture collects under the black plastic on top of lid. The food chute design has a bunch of crevices to dry, and I think it could easily be redesigned to eliminate that problem. One other thing is that the finger holes on the blades are so large that foods like carrots can fall through before getting a chance to slice. Just reposition with other vegs to allow for that. And did I mention that I just Love the adjustable slice feature??

This food processor is awful for grating. It leaves 1/4 of the food in large chunks, and will not be able to shred. This is a very disappointing issue, as most of what I would use a food processor for is shredding or grating!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had saved for quite some time to buy this piece of equipment. As mentioned above, I find it quite cumbersome and not worth all the set-up and cleaning hassle unless I'm cooking for a large group or catering a party.
Performance is fine. It's just not as handy as I had hoped and it takes up a lot of counter space, so I can't just leave it out.
