I bought this as I thought I would use it alot for chopping and slicing things. I really can't use it the way I wanted. Slicing works, but chopping doesn't really. I really wanted to be able to do bread in addition. Unfortunately, I can't do big batches. I should have gotten a mixer with a shredder attachment I think. Probably would have been easier to clean also--not so many parts. I wish I had done a little more research.

Bought this to make marmalade.the adjustible blade did the job quickly and thinly. Cuting the peel by hand was becoming very difficult due to arthritis.

I love my food processor and I would tell anyony to purchase one. KitchenAid stands by their products and if there is a problem they will help.
From a practical stand point the processor is very easy to use but needs to have some improvements made. At times the lid can be hard to clean and the neck where you can feed vegetables in should be larger for bigger food items like whole potatoes and cabbage.
I still garden and can a lot of my own food, very rarely do I have to buy vegetables at the grocery store, the food processor has helped me cut, shred and slice my canning/freezer items faster.

I have always bought kitchenAid for my small appliances. Stand mixer, coffee pot and now the processor. I love my processor. This is large enough that I can process a whole head of cabbage (medium sized) without dumping out what's in there. The three different opening sizes are so convenient. I really don't know what else to say, I love the red color and I just think every kitchen should have one. Next purchase is the hand mixer, hopefully.

It looks so nice on my kitchen counter, but when guests come in, what they do not realize is just how hard and busy this pretty appliance has been.
The KitchenAid 13 cup Food Processor handles all my heavy work and makes me look like a pro.
If slices, mixes, shreds etc and cleans up easily. Two convenient different size bowls, multi-size feeder tube, pretty much covers it all.

This is by far, one of the best kitchen appliance I have purchased. You can slice and dice in seconds with minimal , easy clean up . Perfect for slicing items for veggie tray and your friends will be ever so impressed. If you make your own salsa or sauces, you must go out and get this. It dices cilantro to "perfection" for my salsa. I was "amazed"....I started screaming from the kitchen, my husband and kids came running in "whats wrong mom, what ?" I said look at my cilantro, this is unbelievable, I am so excited, look at it, its perfect ." True story...If I had the opportunity to purchase one again, I would in a heartbeat. :) Thanks KitchenAid.
