Love the variety of configurations using the dual bowls and blades. Quiet operation. Easy-to-use three button controls. I don't need 14 speeds or a button that tells me it will stir or chop. This replaced my Cuisinart blender food processor combo. I miss the blender but used the food processor most.
Pros: easy to use, Innovative, Convenient Features
Cons: would like to store with handle forward, big footprint on my small counter

I owned a Braun Processor for years but the bowl interlock tabs broke off over the years and it finally was unusable. i searched for a larger, more versatile model and settled on the Kitchen Aid 13 Cup System. I have used all the attachments and despite having to carefully think how they all get attached found the usage very handy. I am getting used to the sheer size of the unit as it definitely larger than my previous unit . The main bowl has handled all the jobs I have thrown at it and the smaller sauce bowl is a decided plus . My 4 star rating is down from 5 because the unit is so large. Still overall (so far) I'm glad I made the purchase .

I love my Kitchenaid food processor! It has all the features I was looking for, is easy to use and easy clean up as well. It makes slicing veggies so fast and easy not to mention making dough for home made noodles!!

I don't cook a ton but wanted to try some new recipes and got tired of having to skill things that called for a food processor. I chose this model for the thin to thick selection feature, which works well. The size is larger than I needed and takes up a lot of space on my apartment counter. But the parts are dishwasher safe so clean up isn't bad. The only things I'm not totally satisfied with are the design of the lid and trying to remember when to use which part. I have to refer to the manual each time, but I'll get there the more I use it. As for the lid, it stays closed fine but there is space around the top on the inside just big enough for food to get stuck in sometimes. This leaves unprocessed food that I have to scrape out and either dump or mix again. It's not a lot but enough that I notice it. All and all though, I'm happy with my purchase. I should also add that I got a great price so I'm not sure I'd be as happy if I had to pay retail.
Pros: Performance, Convenient Features
Cons: Lid design, remembering part combinations

I upgraded to this from my mini "other brand name" food processor. This Kitchen Aid 13 cup food processor is perfection. It is suprisingly quiet considering the power of the motor, and it blends everything so well! I've used it to make hummus, pesto, dips, and sweet potato chips so far and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

I bought this to replace my broken Cuisinart. Well it has not only replaced that processor but several other appliances are getting dusty from lack of use. This machine can be more flexible than a mandolin, grater, chopper and more. I used it constantly, pasta dough, pastry, soups, minced dips and sauces all turn out way better than expected! The smaller bowl and variable slice size make this machine THE one to buy!

Likes: Power, Capacity, Ease of use, and overall quality. I was able to use this unit without reading the instruction booklet! So far, I have used the chopper blade and the slicing blade.
Irritation: when slicing lettuce, the indentation under the top cover makes it difficult to remove all of the sliced lettuce before placing in the dish washer. This is not a deal killer.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features, Design, Performance

This food processor is elegant looking so I can keep it on the counter and not hide it. It is very easy to use and not noisy like the brand I used to have. No having to change the slicing discs speeds things up and I can get things done a lot faster. Having the mini work bowl that sit inside is very helpful.
Pros: Convenient Features, Innovative, easy to use, Design, Performance
Cons: should have a larger storage case for discs, the egg whip cannot be used with the mini bowl
