I bought this size as I was tired of the small one I have. However, this one has to be stored in a tote in the basement it is so large. I love the efficiency of it's speed because I was doing things in stages before. So, if you can handle the size and many parts you'll love it. The ingredients seem to collect up in the rim of the lid which is a little annoying and needs a "clean up" and scrape to add it back to the mix. I like the quality of each part, especially the bowls. The on/off button seems hard to find and press even though it is right there in front.

I love kitchenaid! I have the kitchenaid stand mixer and it is the best appliance in my kitchen. I purchased the food processor and was not disappointed. The quality, the ease of use, the estetics are all better than I thougt they would be. I have now use this almost every day to prepare meals. Such a wonderful appliance that is versitile, easy to use, and of exceptionally high quality.

I haven't even begun to use all the applications this machine performs. It makes wonderful soups just be washing the produce and throwing it into the bowl! This has been our main use so far, experimenting with vegetable and fruit soups.
