Clean up around the top of the rim in the groove is a bit of a challenge but it has worked well. I will be giving it a big work out this summer with my canning recipes so we'll see better then how it fairs.

I used it the first time yesterday. It worked just the way I thought it would and it is made very well. I took one star away for what I think most people will have a problem with. The parts seem to be overly complex. I understand how they all fit together but someone who isn't an engineer and a cook may get confused.
