What a wonderful appliance! This food processor makes my work in the kitchen so much easier, it works even better than I imagined. Over the past few years I have replaced all of my appliances with the KitchenAid brand,including my dishwasher. A friend came to visit recently, looked around my kitchen and said, "it looks like a commercial for KitchenAid in here! I just love it!". Thank you for making products that I can depend on year after year!

I love the ease of use and quietness of the motor. The exactslice system is a great feature since all slices do not need to be of the same thickness. I thought the price was comparable since the name, KitchenAid, speaks for itself. I highly recommend this product, especially for high volume jobs that need to be done quickly. It takes longer to prepare the food items to be processed than it does to actually process them! Great job KitchenAid!

Cons: hand drying is tedious

I love this food processor! I use it for slicing veggies, mixing, baking you name it! I also own the smaller food processor for smaller food projects. I LOVE these food processors!! Plus it's easy to handle & lightweight.

Great product easy to use. Largest limitation is the inner interlocking ring that food when slicing can and does get trapped between and is a BEAR to clean. An attachment that juliennes would be nice if it was standard. Overall a great purchase, it's quiet and a great use for everyday chefs.

I like this food processor when using the large blade that chops. I also like that I can slice a large slab of meat into deli sliced meat for sandwiches, which saves us lots of money. The part I do not like, however, if the shredder. We use the shredder on potatoes for our traditional Sunday brunch. The potatoes are not completely shredded, and we end up with some bits of potato that would be good size and shape for making chips. The buttons are also tricky to push.
