A little hard to clean. However all parts seems to be pretty sturdy. I don't like that using the small bowl more often than not gets the big bowl dirty as well.
Didn't have much success using the slicing disc, grating disc is fine tough. Due to the high price of extra accessories, I doubt I will take any chance of buying additional discs.
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Design
Cons: Tough to clean, using the small bowl gets the big bowl dirty

waited quite some time for the perfect time to buy this appliance and it finally happened. Yea! Only 1 small "downside." i did not realize it was so big and now i have to find somewhere to store it.. My kitchen is on the small side and i don't have room to keep it handy on the counter. Not to worry, I'll find a way! THANKS KITCHENAID!
Pros: Convenient Features, Performance
Cons: Storage space

This product is AWESOME !! Made scallop potatoes using this processor. Can adjust the thickness of the blade as your slicing. Have done nuts, cabbage, and many more items. Does a great job. Saves time. Love being able to crush cookies and drizzle in the melted butter.

Very happy to have this product. It works like a dream! And that it's American made is another reason to purchase.

I purchased the food processor in December 2013 after having a Cuisinart for 26 years. I am on my third one in four months. I do not use it that often. The first replacement came when the blade broke from grating cheddar cheese. The second time it had to be replaced, I could not remove the blade and the bowl.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
