Very un-happy with the food processor

I have been attempting to use the 13 cup food processor for the past 14 months. Tomorrow morning I will call to find out if they will send me my third processor. As long as I don't use it continually for more the five minutes it seems ok, but I don't have all day. Today I finished my frosting in my 30+ year-old 6 cup food processor. I do not enjoy being told not to make frosting with this unit, that was the excuse on processor #2. Loved the slicer for the onions and tomatoes, but again, after five minutes it would stop. Run for less than 10 seconds and nothing. Walk away from it for 15 minutes and then it would run for 15 seconds and again nothing. I'm afraid to use it. Hey, I have 2 (TWO# KitchenAid Mixers #4 & pro 6#, 2 #TWO) hand mixers and love them, that's why we thought the food processor was a good idea.
Cons: Performance, Easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Both my husband and I enjoy using our new food processor. It is easy to use, does a great job and clean up is a breeze. I really feel the storage case for the blades makes this product safe and organized.

I got the food processor for Christmas and love it. We make home made potato chips and the thin slice is just perfect for them, and so fast. Can slice a lot of potatoes in just a few minutes. I can hardly wait to slice pickles this year. Great for shredding cabbage and carrots. All around a great product.

I had the same kitchen aid food processor ut the old version. With this one i was amazed with the qiuetness when i use the processor. It makes it really fun and encouraging anytime without bothering others.
