I have used this appliance a total of 3 times. After that, matter what I do it will not turn on; other people have verified that I have everything locked in place as it should be.

Love the product with the exception of the bulky lid that holds all the feeders. Have to clean all three feeders every time, ugh! Love the large capacity, but wish the small bowl would do more, like chop, etc. when only a small amount needs to be chopped, etc.
Pros: Performance
Cons: too bulky. feeders have to all be washed evertime

We are inexperienced food processors. But we love this machine and eager to explore new recipes. It is so versatile and easy to use. Everyone was impressed with our coleslaw, hot crossed buns and garlic whipped potatoes.

This was a replacement to my older Kitchenaid food processor that worked flawlessly. My husband purchased the Architect series along with two matching appliances from Kitchenaid. As others have seen, I stripped the metal blade (within the first 6 mos) when making pie dough. I made pie dough countless times with the older model. I replaced the blade on my own and now the drive adapter has stripped and will not come off the machine. It stripped and melted or otherwise stuck to the motor's shaft and upon pulling it off using pliers, the shaft broke. This occurred when I was shredding monterey jack cheese - a simple task for this machine. It's 2 years old and this is the 2nd time it broke.

Just getting the parts to all fit and such, can be a bit complicated, but then I think my iPhone is too. Works great, and am sure once I get it all down, I'll love it even more. Practice makes perfect.
Pros: Innovative, Performance, Design
Cons: Complicated
