This is a good size, double-function pot, as it has a separate steamer insert. It’s good for steaming vegetables, and for heating up food on a small diameter plate. This way you can lift the plate out (carefully) and serve your food on the plate steamed.

I've used the three quart steamer pot a couple of times and it works very well. I've calculated that it takes 9 minutes to boil and 3 minutes to steam

This is the best pot to steam veggies. I have had one for over 15 years and use it 4 or 5 times a week. Got this one for my sister-law since she commented on this pot while visiting. Only con is that it no longer comes with a glass lid.
