Painful Label Installation

I've had my label writer for about a month. I installed the complimentary labels without much issue, but when I tried installing a larger amount, it was insanely painful. If the large roll of labels isn't perfectly flat on the side, it won't work. The labels can shift when you take off the tape, so you have to bang the roll on the floor to make sure it's perfectly flat before installed in the machine. Such an expensive label writer (and expensive labels made by the same brand) should not be so annoying to install. Please find a way to make your machine less picky so it doesn't waste so many expensive labels when installing a new roll. I should not have to bang the roll of the labels against a hard surface to ensure it's perfect flatness fits in your machine. I'm also afraid I'm going to break the flimsy cheap piece of plastic that has to be screwed on and off every time more labels need to be installed.

Horrible piece of garbage

You'll be lucky to make it through 1 or 2 labels without wasting 40 in the process. Absolute piece of excrement. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Have used the printer for about 2 months, gone through 6 rolls of paper and maybe a dozen or so successful prints. Have to shut it off between prints. Now all it does is flash blue and will not print or connect. Absolute garbage

This printer is amazing... when it works!

This is my second one of these in under 3 years. When they work, they are absolutely amazing. However, they stop working every few months and it takes days to get them back up. Right now, it's back down and it is seriously messing up my work flow. I unfortunately may have to buy another brand. I have uninstalled and reinstalled five times and it still won't read the device.

It works great when it works....

It will work great for a while and then malfunctions and prints out 10 labels instead of one or won't work at all. I feel like I am always deleting the driver and re-installing. Its frustrating. I waste so many labels and they are expensive. I even bought the cleaner cards and its still spitting out blank labels. Off to delete the driver and reinstall again for like the 5th time in a year.

LabelWriter 4XL Dissapointment

Love it when it works. 1 small. 2 quiet enough. 3 fast. The downside: 1 wastes Dymo labels even if loaded right occassionally. 2 No off/on switch. 3 printing labels sideways evidently has been a problem for 3 years or more. 4 Would be such a good product if it printed USPS labels correctly. I have Windows 10 and have tried multiple browsers.

Its the goto label printer for most small business

This thing is a work horse, it can print all day long. Ive had mine over a year and have printed tons with it. For the negative reviews I just think to myself you do know printers arent the easiest to work with. Thanks to the many different softwares and integrations, but none the less paypal, shipstation, ebay all work with this label maker. Heck I print even pictures and silly stuff on these. The only thing that does happen is this sometimes stops responding and you have to unplug it since it doesnt have a power button. Im picky, this thing works as good as a printer can. Its also a big label so usps doesnt lose my stuff as much, isnt that magical.

Fast and Reliable

I bought the label maker three months ago. The manual is a bit confusing and I found several video tutorials on the web that showed how to switch label sizes easily. The manual is not clear on this. Product is great. We use custom made color labels so jams would be costly. No problems so far. I think they need to update the manual and software to make label changes easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good when it works

Goes offline all the time! We have tried everything imaginable to get this thing to work right. Works good sometimes, them stops completely. Almost everyday, this printer slows down out work progress.
